Show the Corporate Hand

Description

Not my usual bit, but hey, if I want to express my self, I will.

I see the corporate hand behind the US decision on Iraq as one reason.
You don't have to comment, you don't have to like this. It's just that I've accepted a lot of opinion (and propaganda from TV) the last few days, I decided to show my 'colours' so to speak.

Sorry - I've reposted this, because it should be IN THIS gallery.

My Gripe
===============================
Ok, so as the media brainwashing has commenced across the country, some things stand out as blatantly weird..

If a bomb, capable of producing a 500m crater hits an urban area.. people are going to die.

Why dont we see it on the news? Where's the civilian casualties? Where's the vietnam style coverage of people burnt and blown to peices. Where is the *reality?*

The media has 'sterilised' the coverage of the war. It's pro-military, the army is always the good guy, even as they symmetrically launch hundereds of missiles and bombs per hour. I do not believe that no one will die. That's pure fantasy, the physics of a 21,000lb MOAB bomb determines that many people will die in an urban arena.

People say it's Saddams fault for putting weapons in urban areas. For these idiots, tell me how you would defend a city, without putting weapons INSIDE the city? This wholesale, unseen murder is frightening. A media that serves its own interests is even worse. A beneign invasion, truly an oxymoron.

Another thing. There is little or no independent media. All the media corporations are assigned or 'embedded' - the new euphemism of the day - with army groups. This makes it incredibly suspect to foul play. A reason is, that a country that is so quick to abandon peaceful methods, quoting WMD's constantly, but additionally disallowing anyone near the battlefeild, has the perfect opportunity to PLANT weapons of mass destruction and chemical agents, and no one could verify if they were Iraqi or not. How can you trust a country that pushes for war, disregards international law, slaps the UN in the face, and then undertakes war to actually make the statement that Iraq has these weapons or not? This is what can undermine the US position bu jumping into war. They'd be tactically retarded not to plant the weapons to get the 'I told you so' position and to verify the people's trust in an obviously barbaric government.

The artwork in this pic is chilling. As for your political inferences, you have my support, ~denizengt. You could not be more correct about the prevailing circumstance in which the Mass Media is in cahoots with the US Military and the War Profiteering industries.
